Official Quebec Electronic Tendering System
In accordance with the Act respecting contracting by public bodies, the Town of Sutton uses the Government of Quebec’s Electronic Tendering System (SEAO) platform to publish its calls for tenders.
Contract Management By-law
The by-law governs the rules for awarding any contract entered into by the Town.
Complaint filed with a public body
The Town has adopted a procedure for receiving and reviewing complaints related to the awarding of a contract following a public call for tenders or the awarding of a contract by mutual agreement with a sole supplier involving an expenditure equal to or greater than the public tender threshold.
This procedure aims to ensure fair treatment of complaints submitted to the Town in the context of a relevant contract awarding process.
The minimum tender threshold is set by ministerial regulation.
Contracts over $25000 awarded through public calls for tender
In accordance with the Act respecting contracting by public bodies, the Town publishes on the SEAO system all contracts involving an expenditure of at least $25,000.
