Cultural Mediation
Since 2023, the Town of Sutton has committed to cultural mediation initiatives aimed at offering unifying artistic projects for the community.
LE MUR | THE WALL
The cultural mediation project LE MUR | THE WALL was initiated in 2023 by the Recreation, Community Life and Culture Department of the Town of Sutton. While providing an aesthetic addition to the municipality, the creation of an urban mural allows groups of residents to experience a unique collective artistic creation alongside a professional artist.
Since December 2024, this cultural mediation project is now part of the 2025-2029 Cultural Action Plan (action 1.1.2), adopted alongside the Town’s Cultural Policy.
The first mural was created in 2023 in collaboration with the Maison des jeunes de Sutton.
In 2024, a second mural was created, once again in collaboration with the Maison des jeunes de Sutton.
In 2025, a third mural was created in collaboration with the the Club FADOQ Les Deux Monts.
