Museum of Communications and History of Sutton

The Sutton Communications and History Museum (MCHS) is dedicated to sharing the socio-economic, cultural, and industrial history of the Brome-Missisquoi region. To fulfill its mission, it organizes themed temporary exhibitions while preserving and interpreting a permanent collection consisting mainly of technical and ethnological objects dating from the first half of the 20th century. The institution also conducts research aimed at highlighting and promoting the intangible heritage of Sutton residents and its surroundings.

In April 2024, the Town of Sutton donated its artifact collection to the Sutton Communications and History Museum. Since then, the museum has been pursuing professionalization efforts with a view to obtaining museum accreditation.
