Territory Map
of the Town of Sutton
Located in the beautiful Brome-Missisquoi region, the Town of Sutton spans a vast area of 247.67 km². This border territory is bounded by Lac-Brome and Brome to the north, Dunham to the west, the Township of Potton to the east, and the United States border to the south.
Sutton stands out for the diversity of its landscapes: agricultural plains to the west, a deep valley surrounding the Sutton River to the southeast, and mountainous terrain to the east, where the foothills of the Green Mountains rise. The highest point, Mount Round Top, reaches an elevation of 962 m.
The town maintains a road network of approximately 250 km, over 135 km of which are gravel roads. This network is complemented by two provincial highways: Route 139, which runs through Sutton from north to south, and Route 215, which connects the municipality to Lac-Brome.
