A Memorable Quebec National Holiday!

The celebrations for La Fête nationale du Québec in Sutton on June 24 once again drew a large crowd in a festive, entertaining, and welcoming atmosphere. Thank you to everyone who came out to take part in the festivities—children, adults, friends, and families: in total, nearly 700 of you enjoyed the activities and Guy Lafleur-themed celebrations!

Agenda – Town Council Meeting of July 8, 2026

The meeting is open to the public. Citizens wishing to attend or ask questions must come to the council room at Sutton Town Hall. Doors open at 7 p.m. and the meeting begins at 7:30 p.m.

Notice of Paving Work on Réal Road and Harold Road Starting July 6

The Department of Public Works and Fixed Assets would like to inform you that asphalt paving work will be carried out in two phases beginning Monday, July 6, 2026. Initially, the work will take place on Réal Road, between Maple Street and Harold Road. Subsequently, the project will move to Harold Road to complete the planned work in that area.

Brome-Missisquoi-Perkins Hospital Looking for New Specialists

In response to the growing challenges facing the healthcare system, municipal elected officials, physicians, the BMP Foundation, Santé Québec Estrie – CHUS, and several partners from Brome-Missisquoi are joining forces to launch a regional initiative aimed at attracting new specialists and family physicians to the Brome-Missisquoi-Perkins (BMP) Hospital in Cowansville.
