Job offer: Responsible for maintenance and surveillance of municipal facilities
Located in the Brome-Missisquoi MRC, the Town of Sutton is a municipality of more than 4,000 permanent residents and more than 3,500 part-time residents. Citizens and many tourists enjoy an enviable standard of living in Sutton thanks to its orientations that revolve around the principles of sustainable development and protection of its landscapes. In order to resume recreational activities for our citizens, the Town is currently looking for a person:
RESPONSIBLE FOR MAINTENANCE AND SURVEILLANCE OF MUNICIPAL FACILITIES
Under the authority of the Recreation and Community Life Coordinator, the person holding the position ensures access to and maintenance of Town premises in order that recreational activities may be held (Goyette-Hill park chalet, museum, school gymnasium, municipal library).
– Open and close the doors at the hours specified by the Town;
− Supervise the premises during reservations;
− Set up and dismantle sports equipment required by users;
− Store the equipment used after each reservation and hand over the premises as they were on arrival;
− Clean the premises and the washrooms so that the premises are clean after each reservation;
− Provide the Recreation and Community Life Coordinator with a monthly report on the progress of activities.
− Have a flexible schedule;
− Be punctual;
− Be autonomous and show leadership;
− One-year contract, part-time (10-15 hours/week);
− Salary to be established according to the salary scales in force.
