Deployment of optical fibre—update as of September 20, 2021

IHR Télécom has released its latest update.

Here are the advances highlighted by IHR with its September schedule update:

  • 100% of the addresses that were on the deployment plan in Notre Dame de Stanbridge now have access to the high-speed Internet network with IHR Telecom;
  • Over 100 additional doors were connected to the IHR Telecom network in Dunham in the last month. As of today, the project is 75% complete in this municipality;
  • The IHR teams have been working hard in Frelighsburg for some time now; Their efforts are paying off with a 20% increase in the number of homes with access to the network;
  • 18% of the homes on the deployment plan now have access to the fiber optic network on the Farnham side;
  • The reception of permits on the Sutton side has made a colossal jump from 40% to 70%!
  • The construction of the network has advanced considerably in Bromont, Brome Lake and West Bolton;
  • The number of doors now stands at 4549;
  • An increase of 323 doors has been recorded since the last update of the schedule.

Once the signal is confirmed at the requested address, the resident will be contacted to arrange an installation date.
