Information from our MNA for Brome-Missisquoi, Isabelle Charest

Ms. Isabelle Charest, Minister responsible for Sport, Recreation and Outdoors and MNA for Brome-Missisquoi, announces on behalf of the Minister responsible for Seniors and Minister responsible for Health, Sonia Bélanger, that financial support is granted to three non-profit organizations in Brome-Missisquoi, including the Sutton Volunteer Centre, within the framework of the program Initiatives de travail de milieu auprès des aînés en situation de vulnérabilité (ITMAV).

Given the positive impact of this program for seniors and the importance of bringing together the strengths of local communities, it is planned to double the number of community workers by 2025-2026.

This important deployment will begin this spring with a call for projects to be issued in May 2023.
