Notice of work: paving of routes 139 and 215 and Maple Street will begin on June 1!

The Ministère des Transports et de la Mobilité durable (MTMD) is pleased to inform you that paving work on routes 139 and 215 and Maple Street in Sutton will begin on June 1 and will last approximately seven weeks, until mid-July.

Work location

The work will be carried out successively on sections of the following roads:

  • Route 139 (Principale Street), between Rivière Street and Western Street.
  • Route 215 (Academy Street), between Route 139 and Pleasant Street.
  • Maple Street, between Route 139 and the ski area.
Important!
  • Work will be carried out weekdays, Monday to Friday inclusive, from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.
  • Traffic will alternate and be directed by flag persons.
  • Access to businesses and residences will be maintained at all times during the work.
  • Speed limit will be reduced during the work.
  • Respecting the signage in place is essential to ensure your safety and that of other workers.
  • Operations could generate noise, dust and vibrations for residents and merchants in the vicinity of the worksite.

Aware of the repercussions of this work, the Ministry encourages you to plan your trips and thanks you for your understanding.
