Open Air Cinema 2022 Programming

The Recreation, Community Life and Cultural Services is pleased to announce the programming for the 2022 Outdoor Cinema Summer Event. Bring your popcorn, your chairs and your blankets to watch movies under the stars at the Veterans Park!

This year, there are two family screenings scheduled, as well as a documentary film presented by Funambules Médias.

Wednesday July 6 – Ron’s Gone Wrong

Veterans Park—8:30 p.m.
Performance of the family film Ron ne va plus in French with English subtitles
Running time: 1:46 minutes

Synopsis :
“Ron’s Gone Wrong” is the story of Barney, a socially awkward middle schooler and Ron, his new walking, talking, digitally connected device, which is supposed to be his “Best Friend out of the Box.” Ron’s hilarious malfunctions, set against the backdrop of the social media age, launch them into an action-packed journey in which boy and robot come to terms with the wonderful messiness of true friendship.

Synopsis :

Synopsis :
Hidden in the heart of the Bic Mountains, in this territory called the Bas-du-Fleuve, is a community of spirits, bold spirits that are taking root. The Sageterre collective farm is the work of Jean Bédard, writer, philosopher, and above all, farmer. Through his writings, he makes action germinate. Through his gestures in the earth, he cultivates thought. Jean Bédard fights against the sleepiness of the world with his pen and his shovel.
