We want to know! Families and seniors, give your opinion!

The Town of Sutton is launching an important survey on the use and appreciation of services in Sutton as part of the revision of the Family and Seniors’ Policy, as announced in the March 25 news item The Steering Committee for the revision of the Family and Seniors’ Policy at work!

Aimed at Sutton’s seniors and families, including teenagers, the survey is looking at the nine areas that influence our quality of life at all ages: Outdoor spaces and buildings, Habitat and Living Environment, Transportation and Mobility, Community Involvement, Recreation, Respect and Social Inclusion, Communication and Information, Health and Social Services, Safety.

The data collected will be used to evaluate resources and better define the needs of our population, with the goal of “fostering the emergence of environments that encourage the social inclusion of seniors” and families (source: Guide d’accompagnement pour la réalisation de la démarche Municipalité amie des aînés, 2020).

This survey is the first major step in the public consultation process of the 2023-2025 Municipal Policy and Action Plan review. Further consultations will follow on a smaller scale. Survey respondents will be able to leave their contact information if they wish to be kept informed personally.
