Call for nominations for the Quality of Life Advisory Committee!

The Quality of Life Advisory Committee is looking for a member between the ages of 18 and 30: are you willing to volunteer some of your time and enthusiasm to promote the quality of life in Sutton?

Mandate of the Committee

The Quality of Life Advisory Committee is made up of volunteers who are committed to enhancing and improving the quality of life of Sutton residents. Its mandate is to:

  • At the request of the municipal council, set up and pilot the first participatory budget project with an envelope of $50,000 for projects that improve the quality of life in Sutton;
  • to give advice and make recommendations on any request relating to the quality of life of the living environment in Sutton;

The committee is composed of 9 members and is chaired by Sylvie Grégoire.

Recruitment procedures  

The Quality of Life Advisory Committee is looking to recruit a young person, between the ages of 18 and 30, to serve on the committee. The addition of a person under the age of thirty will allow the committee to benefit from a different perspective that is valuable to our community. 

The member will need to have some availability to attend monthly face-to-face meetings, which are scheduled at a mutually convenient time.

The position is open to any citizen of Sutton, between the ages of 18 and 30, who is willing to contribute to the realization of the committee’s mandate.
