Family Day : a successful event!

The 2022 Family Day, which was organized today by the Sutton Volunteer Centre (CAB), was a success!

On this warm and sunny Friday, close to twenty families came to Goyette-Hill Park between 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. to participate in the activities created especially for the day. On the menu: opening of the water games, making a personalized drink with the Vélo-smoothie, story time, face painting, drawing, soap bubbles, etc.

Charlotte and Marie-Claude, from the Recreation, Community Life and Culture Department, were also present to conduct a small survey of families on the various municipal facilities and what they would like to see improved in the future. The Town is currently undergoing public consultation for the revision of its Family and Seniors Policy and it was a great opportunity to survey the families in attendance. The comments received during the day will be added to those of coming focus groups. This feedback will be used to improve our policy and thus our services.

The CAB and the Town of Sutton are proud and happy with the way the day went. They thank the people present for their participation in the activities offered. Their smiles, their comments and the joy of the little ones made this event a success.

Thank you to the Centre d’action bénévole (CAB) for organizing the event. The Family Day is part of the Semaine québécoise des familles which takes place from May 9 to 15, 2022.
