POSTPONEMENT of the Open Air Cinema ” L’acte de la beauté” to Tuesday, August 9

The 3rd and final screening of the summer activity of Cinéma en plein air, which was to be held on Tuesday, August 2, has been postponed to Tuesday, August 9, 8:30 p.m., due to the risk of thunderstorms.

Reminder of the film to be screened: the documentary “L’acte de la beauté” by Quebec director Nicolas Paquet.

This film, offered by the Funambule médias organization, presents “SageTerre”, a collective farm project that has taken root in the Bas-du-Fleuve, in the heart of the Bic region. Led by writer, philosopher, social worker and farmer Jean Bédard, this collective farming project is a return to the beauty of the world and aims to make people think about ecology, agriculture, the land and our link with the environment. Through this documentary, Mr. Bédard brings action to life. Through his actions on the land, he cultivates thought, his own, that of his community and ours.
