Volunteer Recognition Evening: a festive event on April 19

The Town of Sutton is pleased to announce that this year its Volunteer Recognition Evening will take place on Friday, April 19, 2024. This event is an opportunity to pay special tribute to the volunteers who devote their time and passion to the many organizations and activities offered on our territory.

This event takes place as part of National Volunteer Week, which celebrates the immense and valuable contribution made by volunteers to the well-being of our society, across Canada, from April 14 to 20, 2024.

A prize will be awarded in each of the following categories:

  • Culture
  • Recreation and Sports
  • Community Life
  • Emerging Talent: awarded to a volunteer aged 30 or under.

How to apply

The organizations recognized by the Town of Sutton are invited to submit the candidacy of a volunteer of their choice, using the form below, before March 29, 2024 at 4:30 p.m.

A selection committee will choose the volunteers who will be rewarded during the evening. More information will be provided at a later date.
