Get ready for Move Sutton on June 27!

ParticipACTION’s Community Challenge kicked off on June 1, and Sutton was already in the top 5 in Quebec in the first week! Let’s keep going: add minutes thanks to “Move Sutton”, a series of gymnastics exercises prepared by the COOP Gym Santé Sutton: discover the video and train until June 27, when we’ll do a giant exercise, all together at 5:30 p.m., outdoors and to music, at the John Sleeth Community and Cultural Centre.

The concept

Just as we did last year with “Dance Sutton”, a series of dance steps with Maude Lecours, this year we’re offering you “Move Sutton”, a sequence of cardio exercises lasting around 10 minutes, led by Mélissa from COOP Gym Santé Sutton: thanks to her, you’ll benefit from a great workout throughout the month of June, while accumulating minutes for Sutton! You’re invited to do it as often as possible!

Move Sutton gathering on June 27 at 5:30 p.m.

On Tuesday, June 27, at 5:30 p.m., we’re inviting everyone to join us for the Move Sutton gathering, which will take place outdoors and to music in the park of the John Sleeth Community and Cultural Centre. Mélissa will lead the routine, which will be repeated several times, and you can join in for as long as you like. Mark your calendars!

Follow Mélissa in this sequence of exercises, and don’t forget to record your minutes of physical activity in the app after each workout!

How to you register your minutes?

Any activity that gets you moving counts towards the Community Challenge: taking a walk, gardening, walking to the shops, vacuuming, walking the dog, running, dancing, swimming… it all counts!

After each activity, simply record your activity minutes in the ParticipACTION app or on their website: sign up today, if you haven’t already! It’s your postal code that records your minutes for the town of Sutton
