New fundraising for the Ukrainian refugees of Sutton

On August 7, 2022, a fundraiser will be held organized by citizens of Abercorn, the Abercorn Culture and Heritage Association and its cultural center, the Ukrainian Refugee Committee of Sutton and citizens of Brome Lake (Knowlton) and Montreal.

What a great synergy for a great cause! Come and participate in large numbers, it will be a very pleasant Sunday afternoon!

When : Sunday August 7th from 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm

Request for housing for the refugees who should arrive soon.

Yes, housing conditions are difficult for everyone who is looking for an apartment for at least a year in the region! The committee is calling on everyone to find housing.

Here is what we need: 1 bachelor as close to the village as possible / 2 apartments of 2 bedrooms for the 2 families who should arrive in the next few weeks.

The date of possession would be November 1st for a period of one year.
