2nd Screening of Our Open-Air Cinema 2022

On Wednesday, July 20, the second screening of a family film will take place as part of the 2022 Outdoor Cinema Summer Event.  The movie, Space Jam: A New Legacy, will be shown at 8:30 p.m. in English with French subtitles. Bring your popcorn, chairs and blankets to watch this film under the stars at Veterans Park! The film screening is rescheduled for July 21 in case of rain.

When LeBron James and his young son Dom are trapped in a digital space by a rogue A.I., LeBron must get them home safe by leading Bugs, Lola Bunny and the whole gang of notoriously undisciplined Looney Tunes to victory over the A.I.’s digitized champions on the court: a powered-up roster of professional basketball stars as you’ve never seen them before. It’s Tunes versus Goons in the highest-stake challenge of his life, that will redefine LeBron’s bond with his son and shine a light on the power of being yourself.

The 3rd and final screening of our Open-Air Cinema 2022 will take place on Tuesday, August 2, 2022. On the menu for this evening is the documentary film L’acte de la beauté presented by the Funambule médias organization.

Hidden in the heart of the Bic Mountains, in this territory called the Bas-du-Fleuve, is a community of spirits, bold spirits that are taking root. The Sageterre collective farm is the work of Jean Bédard, writer, philosopher, and above all, farmer. Through his writings, he makes action germinate. Through his gestures in the earth, he cultivates thought. Jean Bédard fights against the sleepiness of the world with his pen and his shovel.
