The Town Hall telephone line is open 24 hours a day
The Town of Sutton would like to inform its citizens that a service for answering phone calls outside of business hours is now in place: you can now call the Town Hall 24 hours a day, 7 days a week!
In order to offer more services to its citizens, the Town of Sutton has entrusted the Centre d’impartition et de traitement des appels municipaux (CITAM) with the task of answering all the telephone calls it receives at 450 538-2290 outside of its opening hours, whether on weekdays, weekends or holidays.
With this bilingual service, you will be able to speak to one of CITAM’s trained agents who can provide you with basic municipal information, record a request or complaint, walk you through your website search, or forward your request to the appropriate municipal department on the next business day.
“We have been able to test the service and we are very pleased with it,” said Town General Manager Pascal Smith. “It’s a definite improvement for the public. Combined with the efficiency of our receptionist Sarah Biggs during our office hours, this additional service will allow our citizens to communicate with the Town at all times.”
CITAM Mass Alerts and Notifications
It should be noted that this new telephone service is distinct from the one concerning mass alerts and notifications for which the Town of Sutton has been collaborating with CITAM for a long time. This service allows citizens to be immediately notified by phone, text or email of any emergency situation that affects the population : if you haven’t already done so, sign up now!
