Visit the Poem Cocoon in the D’Arts et de rêves Cultural Park

The Poem Cocoon was inaugurated last Sunday, May 29, with great pomp and poetry in the spotlight! Click here to read the story about the inauguration that we published last week.

The project partners would like to thank everyone who attended the event. Because to their warmth, their enthusiasm, their applause and their noisy steps, the event was colorful, festive and magical!

Here is a gallery of photos showing the different activities of the day: a joyful citizen parade between City Hall and the D’Arts et de rêves Cultural Park guided by the famous Mrs. Zazou, speeches by the different collaborators of the project and by the Vice-Mayor Lynda Graham, followed by the official ribbon cutting.

Couldn’t join us last Sunday? The Poetry Cocoon awaits your visit until Monday, September 5.

The photographs in the photo gallery were taken by professional photographer Mikaël Theimer and Marie-Claude Plasse, the cultural officer of the Town of Sutton.

The partners would like to thank the involvement of Marie Clark without whom this artistic creation project would not have been realized, as well as all the participants who contributed to the work. They also thank Nathalie Désilets, owner of the Café-Atelier Amaranthe where the clay supports, on which the poems were engraved. Finally, a big thank you to the artist Paulette Vanier who allowed her work of art to be invested with the creations of the project participants.
