Nutrition Month: until April 1st, visit local businesses to support the growth of the La cantine pour tous program!

March is Nutrition Month, and last week we launched the “Buying local is nourishing!” campaign. All proceeds will be dedicated to the expansion of the La cantine pour tous program, so that more children at the Sutton School can enjoy affordable meals!

Earlier this month, we introduced you to Sutton’s food security initiatives. Whether through food distribution, affordable meals or education, the Centre d’action bénévole de Sutton and Racine Pop do a lot to ensure that those who need it have access to healthy food at school or at home.

Donation boxes – under the label ” Buying local is nourishing ” – were distributed in participating stores to collect your donations from March 22 to April 1.

All proceeds will be donated to the Centre d’action bénévole de Sutton and Racine Pop. The two organizations are working together to ensure that more children at the Sutton School benefit from the La cantine pour tous program, which offers meals at a subsidized price based on the parent’s income, and for which Racine pop is an accredited caterer.

We thank you in advance for your generosity!

This fundraising campaign is organized by the Town of Sutton in collaboration with the Corporation de développement économique de Sutton.
