Brome-Missisquoi CLD
Hours: our offices are open Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The Brome-Missisquoi Centre local de développement (CLD) works to mobilize local actors in a shared, action-oriented process aimed at encouraging economic and social development in the region. As such, it acts as a gateway and clearinghouse for entrepreneurs throughout the MRC who plan to start a new business, or to consolidate or expand an existing one.
Brome-Missisquoi MRC
The regional county municipality (municipalité régionale de comté, or MRC) is a supramunicipal institution whose main mission is to provide the framework for regional development. It also has a role in supporting co-operation and regional planning. Its main mandates are planning and implementing a Regional Development Plan (Schéma d’aménagement et de développement), a Fire Safety Cover Plan, implementing a Residual Material Management Plan, calculating and keeping up to date property evaluations, working with the Sûreté du Québec to plan and organize adequate public security services and to support socioeconomic development through the Centre local de développement (CLD).

Corporation de développement économique de Sutton (CDES)
The Corporation de développement économique de Sutton (CDES) is a not-for-profit organization. The CDES promotes Sutton as a destination in several ways: its website, its Tourist Office, and through major annual promotional advertising. CDES also runs the tourist information office with the financial support of the Town of Sutton.

Sopfeu
SOPFEU’s mission is to optimize the fire protection of the forests and to ensure the lasting quality of our forests to benefit the entire community, and that at the best possible price. The challenge is great. Each year in Quebec, an average of 615 fires affect thousands of acres of forest.

Sûreté du Québec, Brome-Missisquoi Station
This station is primarily responsible for patrols in the region, the monitoring and controlling of road safety, the application of laws and regulations, crime prevention and community-relations activities. The officers also respond to citizens’ requests for assistance.

The Sutton Health Center is a walk-in and by-appointment medical clinic, which also offers a laboratory service.
