Fire Safety and Prevention Service

Mandate

The Fire Safety and Prevention Service is responsible for making Sutton safer by protecting lives, property and the environment.

This is done by responding to all types of incidents, including medical emergencies and fires, and by implementing emergency measures, and promoting prevention, public education and preparedness.

Vision

By being citizen-oriented, and through the work of our dedicated personnel and the involvement of our partners, we affirm our leadership as a firefighting organization in Quebec.

Functions

  • Set up an organizational action plan and risk analysis.
  • Organize and plan the delivery of assistance for all risk categories.
  • Offer fire prevention, public education and emergency preparedness programs.
  • Regulations.
  • Inspection.
