Household hazardous waste (HHW)
HHW consists of products used at home that can be toxic to you or the environment. These waste materials must not go into your garbage or recycling.
You can get rid of them in an environmentally friendly way by bringing them to the landfill. This service is free for residents of the Brome-Missisquoi MRC, provided you can show two pieces of identification that indicate your place of residence. The HHW will be taken care of in a safe manner and redirected to organizations committed to recycling it.
