Do you know these financial aids from the Quebec government to help reduce your GHG emissions?

In order to contribute to the reduction of greenhouse gases (GHG) emissions and the fight against climate change, the Government of Quebec offers financial assistance to encourage energy transition and reduce the combustion of fossil fuels.

Chauffez vert: Financial aid to remove your oil furnace or boiler

The Chauffez vert program supports homeowners who want to replace their oil or propane heating system with an electric system (or with another renewable energy source).

The replacement of an oil or propane water heater is also eligible for financial assistance.

Work must include removal of the oil or propane tank and dismantling of the current fuel furnace or boiler.

The amounts of financial assistance vary according to the type of dwelling and go up to $1,275 for a single-family home.

Roulez vert: Financial aid for new and used electric vehicles and charging stations

The Roulez vert program of the Government of Québec encourages the acquisition of new and used electric vehicles and the installation of charging stations.

  • Up to $7,000 for the purchase or lease of a new electric vehicle
  • Up to $3,500 for the purchase of an all-electric used vehicle
  • Up to $600 for the purchase of a home charging station
  • Up to $5,000 for the installation of charging stations for multi-unit buildings or for workplaces.
