Western Street reconstruction site – Work Info as of July 5, 2024

The Public Works and Fixed Assets Department wishes to provide you with this important update for the upcoming week of July 8th.

In the southern parking lot of Goyette Hill Park: the parking lot will be accessible only to people with reduced mobility. Approximately eight spaces will be available in the southern parking lot.

In the northern parking lot of Goyette Hill Park: the parking lot will be accessible only to people with reduced mobility. Approximately eight spaces will be available in the northern parking lot.

Park users will be able to enter the park via the bicycle path. The use of alternative parking is mandatory.

Phase 3: laying of water and sewer pipes. Start of sidewalk and concrete curb preparation work in parking lots and on the first section of Western Street (between the intersection of Principale Nord and Goyette-Hill Park).

Restrictions: complete closure of Western Street. The intersection of Principale Nord Street and Western Street is accessible to local residents only.

  • Detours via Pleasant Street (Road 215), Academy Street and Principale Nord Street.

Work may be modified or cancelled due to operational constraints or weather conditions.
