What happened this week

Reconstruction has started and our teams are hard at work!

Removal of sidewalks and a portion of paving, as well as excavation of service entrances

Preparatory work in the north parking lot of Goyette-Hill Park

Preparatory work on Route 215 at the Western Street intersection

Installation of temporary parking signs and map: the Town has organized temporary parking lots during the construction work, to help especially Goyette-Hill Park users to park while the usual parking lots are inaccessible. These temporary parking lots are identified by numbers: T1, T2, T3, T4 and T5. A general map of all parking lots, permanent and temporary, has been installed at various points around the village.

What is on the agenda for next week

Please note! Work schedule may be subject to change due to operational or weather constraints.

Monday and Tuesday: pipe-laying work in the south parking lot (Sports chalet). The north parking lot will be available to park users on Monday and Tuesday.

Wednesday: installation of a valve for the temporary aqueduct and connections of residences to the temporary network, subject to the timely receipt of the water analysis results. The Public Works and Fixed Assets Department will distribute service interruption notices and documentation to affected residences about the temporary network to all residents.

Thursday: relocation of community mailboxes to the municipal parking lot next to the post office. Residents concerned have been notified in writing.

Thursday: digging of the retention basin in the north parking lot. The south parking lot will be available to park users.

Friday: continuation of preparatory work.
