Details on the visits of properties by the MRC
Following the press release from the Brome-Missisquoi MRC announcing the start of visits to properties west of the rural sector of Sutton from November 24, citizens were worried about the risk of contamination due to the arrival of inspectors. The MRC’s assessment service wishes to reassure the population: as long as the health recommendations are in force, visits remain exclusively outside. No inspector will enter inside a residence and if he can speak to the owner, he will do so outside, at a minimum distance of 2 m. Each owner will nevertheless have to answer a paper questionnaire which will be submitted or downloaded from the Internet. When the situation returns to normal, inside inspections of residences will resume.
Remember that updating the realty assessment roll is mandatory every nine years and is the responsibility of the MRC. For any further questions, please contact the Brome-Missisquoi MRC’s evaluation service by phone at 45 266-4900, extension 1, or by email at [email protected].
