Efficient repair of Westwood Road by the Public Works Department

Following the repeated passing of trucks, and in particular of a delivery truck which got stuck yesterday, Westwood Road had become impassable: the public works department reacted immediately to allow residents to circulate again. The path was excavated 2 feet today, on a distance of about 80 m, before being recharged with quarry material.

The hot temperatures of recent days have accelerated the thaw which is straining our dirt roads throughout the territory. Our road teams, who are closely monitoring the situation, have been working for more than a week to repair weakened sections. We congratulate them on the speed and efficiency of their interventions.
