Enter the Dance!

As part of PartipACTION’s Community Better Challenge, the Town of Sutton is organizing the Danse Sutton Dance event, to add even more minutes of activity.

Danse Sutton Dance is a participative dance in which we invite you to embark from now on and which will end in a dance party, on Principale Street, on June 28th, at 5:00 pm!

It is a short flashmob choreography created by local artist Maude Lecours to the song Fais aller ton corps from Lisle, Random Recipe and France Basilic.

The music of the choreography starts at 0:52. You can find the tutorial to learn the steps with Maude here. It is very easy!

To inspire you: the videos of Danse Sutton Dance already made!

On June 10th, the Coop Gym Santé Sutton did the Sutton Dance with Maude Lecours. Watch the video: a great performance from the team, congratulations!

On June 14th, it was the turn of the employees of the Town of Sutton to show the example and to perform the Sutton Dance. Watch the video, we had a lot of fun!

Next group to come on board: the Sutton school during the Sutton School Partuy on June 23rd! Stay tuned for the event!

It’s your turn!

Dance alone, with family, friends, at work and share your video!

Create your own video of the Sutton Dance and send it to [email protected]: we will gladly publish it on our special ParticipACTION Challenge page on sutton.ca/letsmove and on our FB page.

Extraordinary mobilization in Sutton!

The ParticipACTION website is constantly updating the rankings and Sutton is on fire!

Our result on June 17th is amazing! We are 1st in Quebec, ahead of Montreal, and 8th in Canada. Congratulations to all!

Objectives of the Community Better Challenge

In addition to inviting Canadians to get moving and record their physical activity minutes, the All Better Together Challenge will award a grand prize of $100,000 to the community that gathers the greatest number of participants and accumulates the greatest number of active minutes in Canada. A $15,000 prize is also awarded across Quebec. The bursaries are intended for the realization of local physical activity projects.

In June, we don’t give up : let’s dance all together!
