The Centre d’action bénévole (CAB) de Sutton will receive financial support from the MNA for Brome-Missisquoi, Isabelle Charest

The MNA for Brome-Missisquoi, Minister responsible for Education and Minister responsible for the Status of Women, Ms. Isabelle Charest, has announced a financial contribution of $29,326 that will be shared among twelve organizations working in the area of food security for the citizens of the Brome-Missisquoi riding. The CAB of Sutton will benefit from this support.

With the improvement of its program of support to volunteer action, Ms. Charest wishes to intervene, in addition to the existing programs, by targeting the needs in food security to counter the effects of inflation on the cost of gasoline and foodstuffs that severely affect the activities of food banks and Meals on Wheels in the region.

The announcement comes on the occasion of the Quebec Meals on Wheels week, March 20-27.
