Halloween is coming soon to Sutton!

The days are getting shorter, the leaves are changing colour… it feels like Halloween! Get your costumes ready and discover the many activities planned this year… spooky fun guaranteed!

Special effects makeup workshop on October 26

To help you get ready for Halloween night, we are offering a free workshop for youth aged 8 to 18 to learn the makeup techniques used in the movies to create fake blood, skin and scars.

The workshop will take place at the Sutton Municipal and School Library on Saturday, October 26, from 1 to 3 p.m. Places are limited. Registration required at [email protected].

Sutton Samhain : Halloween Party on October 26

Sutton Encore is throwing a Halloween costume Party with DJ Nell, DJ Wild Cath & DJ Manu! Get ready for the costume contest! Prizes will be awarded at 11:30 p.m.

The event takes place at Salle Alec et Gérard Pelletier, 4-C Maple Street, Sutton, starting at 8 p.m. on Saturday, October 26!

This evening is reserved for people aged 18 and over. Admission: $15. More info and tickets on the Sutton Encore website.

Musical Stroll on October 31

The Town of Sutton, in collaboration with Silence. On danse, invites you to a musical stroll through the village on the evening of October 31!

This event is a silent disco, so let DJ Nerav’s rhythms flow straight into your ears! Put on headphones and enjoy it collectively and individually. Fun guaranteed! A small speaker will also allow passers-by to hear the music.

Monsters, ghosts, superheroes… all ages are welcome!

Meet-up and headphones distribution in front of the Town Hall, at 5:30 p.m. The stroll starts at 6 p.m. and ends up at Veterans Park around 7:30 p.m. to dance until 8:30 p.m!

Hanted House on October 31

Once again this year, the Royal Canadian Legion invites you to its haunted house on Halloween night. Come in costume, candy will be distributed!

Museum Mysteries on October 31

The Sutton Museum of Communications and History invites you to discover and identify rare, ancient and unusual objects! Find the right answers and leave with candy!

This activity is free and open to children of all ages.

Like every year, on Halloween night, it is time to put on your costume and go trick-or-treating in Sutton!

To ensure a safe Halloween, firefighters will be out on the streets in the evening.

As well as visiting residential neighbourhoods, don’t forget to stop by Principale Street, where candy will be distributed in open businesses, in front of the Tourist Office, the Town Hall, the fire station and at the museum!

Also stop by the CAB at 7 Maple Street for popcorn, fruit bars and warm apple juice!
