Launch of the new Brome-Missisquoi MRC website!

The Brome-Missisquoi MRC is delighted to announce the launch of its brand new website, designed to keep up to date, improve user navigation and facilitate access to information!

Following an analysis of the MRC and CLD de Brome-Missisquoi’s communications ecosystem, held in the fall of 2021, the MRC quickly turned its attention to optimizing its digital platforms to, among other things, improve the overall user experience. To make it easier for citizens to navigate its various platforms and improve the consistency of its communications, the MRC took the opportunity to merge two web platforms, which had been developed in parallel with its “mother” site, into the new website:

  • www.BMvert.ca (in French only), its communication and awareness-raising platform on residual materials management;
  • www.RealisonsBM.com, sa plateforme des grands projets consultatifs régionaux.

With the integration of these two highly successful MRC platforms, users will now be intuitively invited to discover all the other services, projects and information the MRC has to offer, all on the same platform!

The MRC also took advantage of the opportunity to modernize its graphic universe to better match the Brome-Missisquoi territorial brand and its values, while retaining the current brand image, which was slightly refreshed in preparation for the redesign of the new website. The MRC has built on its positioning as a “natural, inhabited, dynamic and innovative region” to embody and demonstrate, across all its digital platforms, the concept of a region that is mobilized, proactive, bold and environmentally conscious.

With this large-scale project, the MRC aims to increase its profile, its own referencing and that of its other major websites, namely www.brome-missisquoi.ca, www.cldbm.qc.ca et www.tourismebrome-missisquoi.ca . That’s why quick access to these sites is now readily available. The MRC has also perfected the SEO descriptions for each of the 275 pages of its new website!

News

A new platform means room for improvement! In addition to improving and optimizing the presentation of the region and its various services and projects, the MRC has acquired two major new portals!

  • The portal – Transportation services: where all information has been divided and adapted to the three different services, i.e. paratransit, public transit and taxibus, and where the information has been popularized for ease of understanding.
  • The Welcome and Immigration portal: where you’ll find a wealth of relevant information on what you need to know when immigrating to Quebec, but specifically to our region! The information is also available in 3 languages – French, English and Spanish – to make it even more accessible to newcomers.

À travers notre nouveau site internet, nous souhaitons que les citoyens perçoivent Brome-Missisquoi comme une région qui ne subit pas le changement, mais qui le crée. La MRC invite donc tous les citoyens et partenaires à découvrir ce nouvel outil bénéfique et profitable pour tous!
