Reminder from the Sûreté du Québec on the documents you need to provide for your vehicle

The Sûreté du Québec reminds you that when you drive a vehicle or have custody or control of it, it is mandatory to have with you your driver’s licence, the vehicle registration certificate or a copy of it, as well as the insurance certificate required by the Insurance Act. It is your responsibility to have these documents in your possession. If you do not have them with you, you are liable to receive a $64 fine for each missing document.
