The Town of Sutton on display at Star d’un soir
The 16th edition of the fundraiser for Sutton Encore and Salle Alec et Gérard Pelletier (SAG) will take place on May 25 and 28, at 8 p.m.: Star d’un soir invites you to discover the hidden or known talents of members of our community, who perform voluntarily on stage to the delight of the public. This year, municipal employees will be participating in this highly entertaining show!
While many of the village’s businesses regularly present performances, three municipal employees have decided, for the first time, to take up the challenge on behalf of the Town of Sutton! Sarah Biggs, Secretary of the Public Works and Fixed Assets Department, and Élizabeth Deit, Director of the Recreation, Community Life and Culture Department, will perform two songs together. Marie-Claude Plasse, Cultural development Officer, will be the Emcee for this highly anticipated evening.
The Town of Sutton is proud of their volunteer commitment and salutes Sutton Encore’s initiative in making this show a unifying event that makes our stars shine for a night!

Fundraising to support stage productions at the SAG
These are difficult times for independent theaters, which have weathered a severe financial storm during the pandemic. This fundraiser will enable Sutton Encore to continue operating. Having a performance hall in the heart of our community is a privilege and a cultural asset that we wish to preserve.
Money will be raised through the sale of tickets for the show, but you can also make donations to the organization or to participants. Receipts will be issued for all donations over $25: be generous!
