This Sunday, November 5, 2023, we switch to winter time

Don’t forget to turn back the clocks on the night of November 4-5! At 2 a.m. on Sunday morning, it will actually be only 1 a.m. That means we will gain an hour’s sleep, but lose clarity when we wake up.
Take the opportunity to change your batteries!
Prévention Incendie Brome-Missiquoi would like to remind you that it’s time to change your alarms:
Replace the battery when the detector issues an intermittent audible signal.
Use long-life batteries such as lithium batteries or use rechargeable batteries only if recommended by the manufacturer.
Replace it when you move into a new home and never paint it.
Since smoke alarms have a limited lifespan, you should replace them every 10 years.
