Time change on this Sunday, March 10!

We’ll move the clock forward on the night of March 9 to 10, 2024: in other words, at 2 a.m. on Sunday March 10, it will already be 3 a.m. We will lose an hour’s sleep, but gain clarity in the evening. Spring is just around the corner!

Time to change your fire alarms’ batteries too!

Take the opportunity to change your batteries!

Prévention Incendie Brome-Missiquoi takes this opportunity to remind you of its recommendations concerning your fire alarms:

✅  Replace the battery when the detector issues an intermittent audible signal. ????

✅ Use long-life batteries such as lithium batteries or use rechargeable batteries only if recommended by the manufacturer.

✅ Replace it when you move into a new home and never paint it.

✅ Since smoke alarms have a limited lifespan, you should replace them every 10 years.
