Western Street reconstruction site – Work Info as of August 16, 2024

The Public Works and Fixed Assets Department wishes to provide you with this important update for the upcoming week of August 19th.

In the southern parking lot of Goyette Hill Park: the parking lot will be accessible only to people with reduced mobility. Approximately eight spaces will be available in the southern parking lot.

In the northern parking lot of Goyette Hill Park: the parking lot will be accessible only to people with reduced mobility. Approximately eight spaces will be available in the northern parking lot.

Park users will be able to enter the park via the bicycle path. The use of alternative parking is mandatory.

Phase 3 continues: laying of water and sewer pipes. Installation of interlocking paving stones in the southern and northern parking lots.

Restrictions: access to Western Street via Principale Nord Street. The intersection of Western Street and Route 215 is closed until August 23 inclusively.

Please follow the detour below:

• Detour via Pleasant Street (route 215), Academy Street and Principale Nord Street, chemin Woodard and chemin Lefebvre.

Work may be modified or cancelled due to operational constraints or weather conditions.
