Western Street reconstruction site – Work Info as of August 6, 2024 – Parking lot closures

The Public Works and Fixed Assets Department wishes to provide you with this important update: closure of both parking lots in Goyette-Hill Park between Wednesday, August 7 and Monday, August 12.

The southern and the northern parking lots of Goyette-Hill Park will be closed between Wednesday, August 7 and Monday, August 12 to allow proper drying of the new concrete curbs that will be poured.
It is therefore forbidden to drive or walk in the parking lots during this period.

Park users will be able to enter the park via the bicycle path. The use of alternative parking is mandatory.

Phase 3 continues: laying of water and sewer pipes. Sidewalk and concrete curb preparation work.

Restrictions: complete closure of Western Street. The intersection of Principale Nord Street and Western Street is accessible to local residents only.

  • Detours via Pleasant Street (Road 215), Academy Street and Principale Nord Street.

Work may be modified or cancelled due to operational constraints or weather conditions.
