Winter Pleasures program announced – February 18, 2023!

It is with great pleasure that the Town of Sutton and the Corporation de développement économique de Sutton (CDÉS) announce the program for the event Winter Pleasures on February 18th at Goyette-Hill Park.

Fun activities are planned for this day in the great outdoors:

  • Ice skating on our ice rink and our beautiful ice path
  • Snow scooters available for use on the ice path
  • Outdoor mini-golf
  • Warm beverages
  • Winter crafts (10 a.m. to 2 p.m.)
  • Line dancing (2 p.m. to 4 p.m.)

At 1:00 p.m., Mayor Robert Benoît will announce the winners of the snow sculpture contest on site and live on our Facebook page. Come join us!

And be sure not to miss the beautiful fireworks that will be set off at 7:30 pm from the park to wrap up the day!

Free hiking at PENS from February 17 to 24

From Friday, February 17 to Friday, February 24 inclusively, the PENS will be offering free access to the hiking trails to residents of Sutton and Abercorn. Simply present your proof of residency at the PENS reception desk and enjoy the trails!

Free access and 50% discount on rentals at Plein Air Sutton from February 13 to 24

On Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays, from February 13 to 24, Plein Air Sutton’s hiking, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing trails will be accessible free of charge to Sutton residents, with proof of residence.

Also, equipment will be rented at half price (depending on availability) : a perfect opportunity to try a new sport!
