Héritage Sutton offers a records management contract!

The non-profit organization Héritage Sutton has received a grant from the Bibliothèque et archives nationales du Québec (BanQ) to hire a person to complete its indexation of the Oral History Fund and to create a research directory.

Description of the position

The documentary management contract is for 12 weeks. The task consists essentially of organizing and indexing the oral history collection created by the historical society. It requires thoroughness, analytical and synthesis skills, a good command of French and English and basic knowledge of archival processing and computers.

The conditions of this contract are negotiable, i.e. the number of hours per week, the share of telecommuting, the social benefits, the starting date. The hourly rate will be set according to training and experience.

This first contract will open the door to long-term mandates in a stimulating work and life environment.
