Thank you for clearing your bins and containers!

After snow showers, garbage cans and containers end up buried. It is essential that all residents and business owners take care to remove snow or ice from their bins or containers–above and around–in order to allow their collection.

 

Remember that By-law No. 222 concerning waste collection on the territory of Sutton (in French only) stipulates that:

  • The bins must be spaced and free of obstacles within a perimeter of at least 60 cm (2 ′);
  • Metal containers must be spaced apart and free from obstacles within a perimeter of at least 90 cm (3 ′).

If these measures were not respected, the collection service reserves the right not to collect them.
