Volunteers needed for the Fête nationale du Québec in Sutton!

Like every year, we rely on the invaluable help of volunteers to make the day run smoothly.

Do you enjoy meeting people and have a little time to offer? Come and lend us a hand on Monday, June 24 on the former Filtex site.

Several tasks are available! 

From 9 a.m. to noon:

  • setting up the site (setting up tents and tables, installing umbrellas, putting up posters on sandwich boards, setting up barricades, etc.);
  • site decoration;
  • welcoming suppliers at the corner of Dépôt and Principale;
  • accompany suppliers in and outside the site.

Afternoon, noon to 5 p.m.:

  • greet visitors at the corner of Dépôt and Principale;
  • circus workshop supervisor (2:15 p.m. to 4:45 p.m.);
  • accompany the make-up artist (1:45 p.m. to 6:15 p.m.);
  • help at the Vélo-Smoothie – prepare fruit and invite people to pedal (1 p.m. to 5 p.m.);
  • parking management for suppliers.

Evening, 5 p.m. to 11 p.m:

  • greet visitors at the corner of Dépôt and Principale;
  • circus artist escort (7 p.m. to 10 p.m.);
  • perimeter security during the fire and light show (9:30 p.m. to 10:15 p.m.);
  • dismantling: 10 p.m. to 10:45 p.m.
