Recent intergenerational activity

Published on August 16, 2018

On Thursday, August 9th, the second intergenerational activity, organized by the municipality , was held in collaboration with Mrs. Odile Savaresse and the Day Camp of the Town of Sutton.

The 5-7 year olds had the opportunity to participate in an interactive painting activity with Mrs. Savaresse who guided them throughout the activity. With the help of the day camp leaders, she lead fun painting workshops with the children who enjoyed it. Some very interesting results came out. In addition, the 8-11 year old group practiced the drawing techniques learned in order to put together a small notebook containing different characters from their imagination. The notebooks could be kept and brought home after the activity. This shows that different generations can learn a lot from each other!
